Here at Varico we understand that no two roofs are the same.  This is why our canopy systems are available as a bespoke item which are made to order to suit your exact roofing requirements.  There are many items that can be manufactured to help you fit the perfect canopy for your project.  

We can offer the following options when designing your canopy:

  • Alteration to post length an / or wallplate height

Colour 

We can supply the Evolution Canopy in virtually any RAL colour.  This is particularly useful for customers who are installing a canopy in an area of outstanding natural beauty or greenbelt.  It also enables clients who are using our canopies on industrial or commercial premises to match the canopy to the building colour or have the canopy manufactured in their customers brand colours.  

Popular choices include:  

  • Agate grey canopy 
  • Chartwell green canopy 
  • Sage green canopy 
  • Mahogany brown canopy 
  • Light oak / golden oak coloured canopy 
  • Black canopy 

As always canopies that are made to a specific colour are powder coated to ensure the lifespan is just the same as a standard canopy roof.  Remember the guttering of the Evolution Canopy is integral so when a canopy is manufactured to a RAL colour it all matches through.

Polycarbonate Colour

Just like the standard canopy you get to choose your polycarbonate colour.  This can be especially useful if you are having the canopy made to a RAL code as you can choose the polycarbonate colour best suited to the colour of the frame.  

Standard polycarbonate colours include:  

  • Clear polycarbonate - for maximum light transmission 
  • Bronze polycarbonate - for a diffused light (similar to wearing sunglasses) 
  • Opal polycarbonate - for a light and airy feel but with less light transmission to clear and bronze

Also available as an option for our bespoke canopy system is a new heatguard polycarbonate which is great at providing an element of heat reduction to anything underneath the canopy roof.  

All Evolution Canopies whether supplied as a bespoke kit or from our standard listing are supplied with 16mm triplewall polycarbonate material which is the perfect for a roofing application as it allows a good span whilst also giving a reasonable light transmission.

Roof Glazing Material 

Did you know that as part of our bespoke canopy range we can offer two non-standard roof glazing options?  

Our bespoke canopies can be supplied with a glass roofing option.  This is particularly useful if you are installing in an area of outstanding natural beauty or if you are trying to install your canopy on a period property.  

Solid polycarbonate can also be used in the roofing of the Evolution Canopy.  This gives the same appearance as glass but is up to 200 times stronger and a great option is you want a clear glazing material with all of the strength of multiwall panels.

Freestanding Canopy 

The Evolution Canopy is also available as an 'apex' style freestanding roof.  With this design you don't have to tie in your canopy to a building giving you more flexibility on placement and allowing you to install a canopy roof away from buildings.  This is a great option for a pergola or outdoor garden area where there is no building to anchor against.  Apex canopies are also popular with our commercial clients for outdoor seating areas or smoking shelters at pubs or restaurants.

Made to order canopies are a great addition to our standard canopy line up.  Over the years we have supplied canopies to a wide range of clients across a broad range of industries.  These include:
