Price Match Promise

What is our price match promise? 

Varico will always ensure that we are market competitive against our competitors selling the same like-for-like products.  We regularly check our competitor’s prices to ensure we remain competitive in our sector. 

We will match a competitor’s price on a like for like basis when comparing the entire basket of products required – including the price for delivery. 

How do we compare our prices? 

Firstly, we must be sure that the product(s) are available online, in stock and can be delivered nationally.  Competitors that deliver locally only will not be matched. 

We also need to ensure that the product(s) are the same make, model size and colour and are supplied with the same warranties, delivery times and service conditions i.e. returns policy etc. 

Which competitors will we not match? 

We will not match any products offered for sale on auction sites – such as, but not limited to – eBay, Gumtree etc.  We will also not match prices offered for sale in Amazon’s marketplace and/or used or second-hand items.  We will only match prices for items for sale online and not sold over the counter.  Our price match promise will not match prices of bespoke or made to order items, such as - but not limited to - keyed alike euro cylinder locks, cut keys and Evolution Canopy Systems. 

What do you do if you find a product cheaper elsewhere? 

If you do find products at a cheaper price you should contact us via telephone, email or our help button online.  You will need to provide the details of the competitor, their website address and full product details.  We will need to access their website to verify the pricing offered.

The small print: 

We will only match prices on the entire order (including any delivery charges) required from our competitor and not individual products; for example, if you require polycarbonate, glazing bars and accessories but find the glazing bars are cheaper elsewhere but we are cheaper on the polycarbonate we will not match the glazing bar prices only.  The comparison made will be against a competitor on a like-for-like basis including any delivery charges. 

There may, on rare occasions, be examples of pricing online whereby we cannot match the prices.  Varico Ltd reserves the right at its entire discretion not to honour the price match if the competitors’ prices are below the market (going) rate when compared to other online suppliers. 

We shall only match online prices that are publicly visible on a competitor’s website.  We shall not match; quotations, hand written or verbal prices from a competitor.  The competitor must have stock publicly available for said product and offer a like-for-like lead time and warranty.  The implementation of the Price Match Promise shall be at our sole discretion and we shall offer no cash in value in lieu of the Price Match Promise.
